November 9, 2021, 8:30 - 5:30

Location: MITRE Campus, McLean, VA

2nd Annual Mid-Atlantic Synthetic Biology Symposium

Co-hosted by the SynBio at the University of Virginia and The MITRE Corporation, this meeting will bring together experts from industry, government, and academia. Join us to hear the latest research and of opportunities in SynBio in the mid-Atlantic (MD, DE, DC, VA, NC, SC, GA).

Due to security requirements at the meeting venue, registration will close October 20.  No walk-ins or late registrations will be allowed.  Non-citizen foreign nationals may be required to provide additional information to MITRE for security purposes.  Permanent US Residents/Green Card holders are not considered foreign nationals, though they should carry their Permanent Resident/Green Card to the event.

Participants will be required to wear masks and present proof of vaccination.  You will be asked to provide a copy of your vaccination card during registration, and you will need to bring your card with you to the symposium.

REGISTRATION IS CLOSED. Currently, we are planning for an in-person meeting but understand that some people will want to join virtually. Zoom information will be sent out a week prior to the symposium to those who plan to join virtually.

Poster submissions are welcome and encouraged. If you plan to bring a poster, please provide your title when you register.
